My Book: Coming Soon!
By Z Zoccolante
I’m elated that you’re the first wonderful people that I share this news with publicly.
My book will soon be published!!!!!
And by soon I mean you can have it your hot, little hands or cool, little kindle in about a week or two!!
Hip hop, hooray!
This book holds a part of my heart because it’s about the eating disorder, and love triangle, that consumed me for over a decade.
Throwing Up Rainbows:
My Eating Disorder and Other Colorful Things
I’m sharing this with you because I don’t need this book anymore. Today, I’m free and happy. But it took me a LONG time to figure out how to recover the way I wanted – where food and body image are a non-issue.
I wrote this book because it was the book that didn’t exist when I desperately needed it. It was the book I would have wanted. That told all the truth. That told a story of a real person who actually recovered and was free! And how they did it.
So here’s my invitation to you . . .
They say that we’re all connected by eight degrees of separation. That means that right now someone you know through your little grapevine is struggling with an eating disorder. Someone you know is struggling as a parent or loved one of someone with an eating disorder. Maybe that someone is you.
I invite you to share this book with everyone.
I want the people who need it to find it. Be my eyes and ears. Help me share it with the world – with parents, and loved ones, husbands and wives, teens , with those who might have lost hope that there is a better and that they can have it.
Who my book is for:
- If you’re struggling with an eating disorder. I tell you everything I did to recover.
- If you’re a parent or loved one. It will give you understanding and compassion.
- If you’re a husband or wife. It can give you hope and help you see future roadblocks. You can be aware and address these things early to give your relationship the best chance of success and happiness.
- If you’re curious in general of this strange cultural obsession we have with “skinny”
- If you’re curious about addiction.
- If you’ve lost hope that you can recover.
If this is you, or someone you know, then this is the book.
What’s the book about?
The book is a memoir, meaning it’s the true story of my eating disorder recovery. It’s written like a fiction novel with a touch dark humor, wit, and rawness. You might crack a smile. You might cry. You might see yourself or a loved one. You’ll get to peel back the curtain and step into the secret world of eating disorders.
So friends, I need your help to reach the people I’m not able to.
Stay tuned for updates on where and when you can get the book.
I’m so excited for this to finally be in the world.
With Love and one thousand exclamation points,
