How to Avoid Overeating on the Job
Guest Post – By Kaylee W.

Food is as much a part of office life as meetings, it seems. There are holidays and birthdays, fun Fridays and other special occasions—all of which can upset a normally healthy eating routine and lead to overeating.

One of the key ways to avoid overeating, especially at work, is to realize why and when it happens. Some of us don’t eat when we’re stressed—but a lot of us do, and work can be a stressful place.

A few key strategies, some of them starting at home and some starting at work, can be a great way to avoid eating too much. For starters, skipping breakfast is only going to give your body a food deficit to start the day, which can lead to more eating (and bad choices) during the work day. Another way to combat office overeating is to log everything in meals and snacks; it helps to improve your level of consciousness about eating.
